What is ADAS Map?
What it is
ADAS Map is a comprehensive platform designed to identify Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on specific vehicles. It serves as a central hub where you can view a vehicle’s ADAS systems, component locations, and the specific calibrations, initializations, or programming required for a repair.
Why it exists
The platform was built to ensure that ADAS-equipped vehicles are properly repaired, calibrated, and validated. Instead of guessing which sensors are on a car, ADAS Map analyzes vehicle data to tell you exactly what is present and what needs attention.
Key capabilities
-
Identify Systems: See exactly which ADAS components are equipped on a specific VIN.
- Find Components: View diagrams or descriptions of where components are located.
- Determine Requirements: See suggested calibrations and the "triggers" (the specific reasons why a calibration is needed).
- Access OEM Info: If you have an ALLDATA subscription, you can access service information, position statements, and removal/installation procedures directly through the platform.
